These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Favorites Forge (the "Software"). By purchasing or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Upon purchase, you're granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Favorites Forge on devices you own or control, for your own personal or business use. This is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring fees.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your copy or license key with others. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where applicable law explicitly permits it.

2. Your data

Favorites Forge runs entirely on your own computer, on files you choose to open. We never see, receive, or store your bookmarks or any other files the Software processes. The Software is designed to never delete data without your explicit confirmation, and every processing step produces a new output file rather than overwriting your original — but you're responsible for keeping your own backups.

3. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Use it at your own risk.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to data loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for it.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled per the policy shown at time of purchase (currently a 30-day money-back guarantee) — see your Gumroad receipt or contact info@favoritesforge.com.

6. Updates

We may release updates to the Software from time to time. There's no guarantee of ongoing updates or support, though we intend to keep improving it and will respond to support emails in good faith.

7. Termination

We may terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms (for example, redistributing the Software without permission). You may stop using the Software at any time.

8. Governing law

Favorites Forge is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in Taiwan. These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Software will be resolved in the courts of Taiwan, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your own country of residence grant you rights that cannot be waived by this clause.
